Ms. Ala’Torya V. Cranford is a native of Hartsville, South Carolina and a graduate of Mayo High School for Math, Science and Technology in Darlington, South Carolina.  Ala’Torya attended Paine College and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, a Masters of Science Degree with Emphasis in College Teaching and Learning from Walden University in Minnesota and she is pursuing a Doctor of Education Degree for Higher Education Leadership.


Ala’Torya is the President and CEO of TranspireOne, Inc., a non – profit organization with the dedicated purpose of mentoring and assisting individuals with self-discovering and discovering self through transparency and inspiration in an interactive teaching-learning environment that will aid in personal, professional, mentoring and leadership growth.

She has experience in serving through a variety of organizations including: Augusta Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Committee where she served as the Signature Event Chair, Young Professionals of Augusta, UNCF – National Alumni Council Board of Directors and a member of the Historic Tabernacle Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia.  Ala'Torya has been nominated for a SHERO Award for the area of Education by Cher Best Sisters Only Club for 2013 and again in 2015 received the Cher Best Sisters Only Club W. Quincy Murphy Vision Award, which is the second highest honor and has been the youngest to receive it.  She was also Top 10 in 10 semifinalists for Young Professional to Watch by the Augusta Chamber of Commerce in 2012.
